Something we should put a LOT more emphasis on… Product Affiliate Reviews/Posts

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of posts over the last two weeks, we’re been gearing up for a major launch in a non-IM market, and it’s been taking up a lot of our time.

I did however have the pleasure of interviewing 2 incredible people, and I’ll be posting the interviews over the coming days/weeks, but today I was to talk about just one of them.

You see, in the 90 day challenge, we recommend doing affiliates posts, why?  Because it’s easy traffic to rank for the product keywords.

Now, we didn’t “emphasis” it enough I think, but the importance of it has been there all along.

See, when I was doing the interview with Chris, he pretty much laid out his entire strategy on how he builds little mini sites based around specific product keywords, very cool stuff.  The really cool stuff though was when he was telling me about some of the numbers he was doing.

Anyway, the method is exactly the same as posting affiliate reviews on your site based around specific products targeting specific keywords, there really is little difference, but the results and the “why” it works we DEFINITELY didn’t emphasis enough in the 90dc training material.

Anyway, keep an eye out for the interview in a couple of days, I’ll post it up then, it really is very very cool.

I thought this guy was good… but now I think he’s just unbelievable!!! Marketing at its BEST!

Ok, so Rob, one of the guys that works for us, showed me a you tube video of a guy playing one of my favorite classical musical pieces on the guitar.

As first, I was like, “Wow! This guy is awesome!” I got tingles up my spine and all that good stuff, it was just a pleasure to watch someone who is as good at what they do as he is.

But here is where it gets even cooler, at first glance, it looks all good right, just sending it through to his own clickbank product…

Or is he?

Actually he’s not, http://www.guitarmasterpro.com is actually an iframe, this dude is an affiliate!!!

This video has had 40 MILLION views in Youtube… 40 MILLION!!! Do you think after watching that video that anyone who wanted to learn the guitar wouldn’t buy that product?

But here is where it steps up another notch…

If you search in Google for “guitar”, a keyword that has 233 million competition, that video ranks #2.

Whoever this is behind it, kudos man, you are doing a brilliant job at being an original marketer!

Thanks to Rob for showing this to me, not just because it was an awesome video to watch, but because it was awesome to reverse engineer what he’s doing!

p.s. the other possibility is that it’s his own product and he’s iframing it with a different ID to independently track how many sales he’s getting through that video, which is also a smart way to test what is working :)

150,000 Uniques JUST From Article Marketing In 2007

Hey Guys,

Anyone who has followed the 90 Day Challenge will know that article marketing plays a pretty important role in getting your site noticed, ranked and indexed by Google. This is only part of the benefit of Article Marketing and I know there are guys out there that do this day in and day out and actually make a full time wage from it.

Imagine that being able to earn a full time wage, JUST from article marketing.

You have most likely seen the products around that use article marketing as a large part of their course, anywhere from making money through affiliate programs, through to creating niche sites and using article marketing as a form of SEO.

Some of them are.

Bum Marketing – Using article marketing to promote affiliate programs and make commissions on sales generated by their articles.

Niche Marketing On Crack – Uses article marketing to help promote niche sites that earn an income through however you monetize the site (usually through a list or pre-sell into an affiliate program).

Personally I have not used the Bum Marketing method though from what I hear it is a good product. And I know that Andrew Hansen did a fantastic job with Niche Marketing On Crack.

But there is an unknown (well widely un-known) under the radar article marketer that goes by the name of Paul Schmitt. Quite a few people in the WarriorForum know about Paul but outside of that you do not hear his name mentioned much.

Paul also created his own series of videos called SuperNova Article Marketing Secrets which re-enforce his tips and techniques.

What bought Paul to my attention and immediate interest was a forum post where he mentioned that just one of his articles had made him OVER $12,000 USD in 2007 alone.

Not only this but this single article sent him over 70,000 uniques in 2007 AND has maintained a number 1 position in Google for its keyword for over 18 months, and still does today.

I thought this alone was impressive enough. Then when I had a chat to Paul and he told me in 2007 as a “low” guess he told me that he received around 150,000 uniques from article marketing.

Let me do some math for you

150,000 % 12 Months means that Paul was receiving 12,500 uniques every single month for the year 2007 to his sites. Can you imagine how many rankings you would need in Google to get this sort of traffic?

That is over 400 uniques every single day.

This is not even including any SEO benefits from the articles Paul submitted.

At this point I knew I needed to get Paul into an interview so that I could share some of his insights with the readers here.

So Paul and I recorded a 35 minute interview where I asked him about the Article Marketing tips and any other questions I thought relevant during the interview.

Now Paul also has an Article Marketing product where he has gone through a video process step by step as to how he achieved his results and the specific twists that Paul does when he submits his articles.

Paul isn’t a “fancy smancy” marketer, his sites are very humble, don’t over hype and tell you exactly what you will learn in his step by step blueprint to successful article marketing.

What I can tell you though is that his videos are very comprehensive and will teach you how to replicate his own success in Article Marketing.

If you really want to learn how to earn more money from your articles, get more pre-qualified unique visitors from your articles and really take your article marketing to a new level then I definitely recommend learning what Paul has to say.

Action always speaks louder than words and the fact that Paul is still using these methods today for his own use is what really got me convinced.

After going through Paul’s video’s we personally have started ramping up our Article Marketing according to these videos. I mean come on I want an extra 150,000 uniques a year, i’m in :P

Consistency - One of the major keys to success…

I was going to keep that as saying one of the major keys to success online, but it really is one of the major keys to success period!

You take your health for example, you can’t just go on a binge diet and expect it to work, or exercise some days or weeks, and not others.

Or your family and relationships, you can’t just see them once in a while, or tell them you love them once in a blue moon and expect the relationship to grow, it just doesn’t happen.

Success online is no different, how often do you build links to your site? How often do you post your content (even if it is semi automated!)? How often to you check your split testing results to see whats working and implement something new?

Consistency is what matters most, doing things on a regular, consistent basis, if you don’t, or if you haven’t been, quite likely you will have been experiencing waves or fluxes, high points and low points

The way to combat that and keep on a steady growth path is by doing the “important few” (those activities that make the most difference in whatever endeavour you are pursuing) on a consistent basis.

What are the “important few” that you need to be doing on a regular basis?

First find that out, then do it consistently!
