Hi Marc,

The articles are of excellent quality. I think you should do a survey or poll system on your website to make it easier to answer your questions.

Your Feedback On The Actual Articles

2. Price Point You would be happy with & distribution quantity
We were thinking the below sounded like a great deal.

$97 per article pack (of 50 articles 1000 words each) distributed to 50 people only.

Answer: For the quality and quantity this is reasonable.

3. If All Packs Were Of The Same Quantity & Quality Though On A Different Subject Would You Buy Multiple pakcs?

Answer: YES

4. Would You Purchase Further Article Sets In The Same Industry (Different topics within the industry though, like a part 2 type thing)

Answer: YES (Part 3, 4 until the entire industry is covered)

5. Anything Else You Would Like to Cover

Answer: I will let you know when I think of it.

1. The articles look amazing! The content is very well-written and the length is just begging for short reports, bonuses or opt-in incentives. (Not to mention the higher-quality site content!)

2. $97 per 50-article pack, limited to 50 people sounds great, but I think it’d be nice to offer a mini pack of like 20 similar articles for $37, limited to 100 people as well. This could be for niches with less available topics, that are less in demand, or even $97 packs broken down after a certain amount of not selling 50.

3. Yes, I would buy more than 1 pack. However, I don’t think I would buy them at the same time unless I knew exactly what articles (titles & possibly descriptions) were included, and I received a discount for doing so.

4. Yes, I would definitely purchase more packs from the same niche.

5. I think with the high-end nature of these packs it is crucial to:

i. Display the exact titles and possibly short descriptions
ii. Provide us the chance to request niches like normal
iii. Offer discounts when buying multiple packs
iv. Offer “mini packs” as mentioned above

Thanks for the opportunity, and keep up the awesome work, mates! =)

Hello Marc & Daniel,

I am happy to be back at PLRPro & PLRPro Ebooks!

I think the kit is much much better than standard content that I have gotten in the past. While $2 per article sounds reasonable, the $97 price tag would be more than I would be willing to pay considering I am already into PLRPro pretty heavy each month now. I would consider if:

You created specific Niches (maybe another test or survey??) and continued to feed that niche each month with content.

And,

You offered a tiered structure, ex. 10 articles for $15, 25 articles for $55, and your 50 articles at $97. You could make up the difference by allowing more people to buy packs of the lower end, example; 10 article plan goes to 100 people, 25 article plan goes to 75 people, and so on.

I don’t know how you would manage that internally but I would consider buying a lower amount but $100 bucks is too much for my blood considering other available resources ( Dragon Naturally Speaking/re-writing existing content, etc).

Maybe you could work out an arrangement with need-an-article.com???

1. Articles are as described - Excellent Quality

2. Price Point is at the right point for me.

3. I would be selective as to which packs I purchased. They would need to be in areas that I am focusing on. Knowing titles would be sufficent, as quality of the content is obviously there. Perhaps being able to shop for article packs by subject matter, only allowing 50 copies of each of be downloaded. You may have to wait for all copies to be sold out over time, but that would be the best value for the me to not purchase a subscription of content that I wouldn’t use.

4. Yes, I would buy packs within same topic as long as there is not blatant overlap.

5. Couple of things to suggest.

a) Would be nice to be able to purchase high quality packs to go along with the PLR Pro eBook product line.

b) Would be even more valuable if there was a version of each article that was ready to be loaded into Content Composer to make the articles unique to each of the 50 participants.

Cheers

Article quality works for me. Price point is also good. I would need to select by subject. Sure I’d buy multiple packs. Distribution of the packs to 25 recipients would obviously be more attractive than to 50 :)

Thanks guys,
Doug.

These articles are as good or better than what is on MSN, CNBC, or CNNMoney.

The price point is okay. I would like a better price or extra, highly useful feature if I subscribed to a series.

Yes, I would buy packs from different subjects.

I would buy a two part pack in multiple subjects. I would also be interested in a series in more than on market. Say a starter pack of 50 with a monthly supply of 10 to 25 extra articles on the same niche each month. A lower number of articles each month would be perfect if the topics were current.

Have these articles been in circulation long? Even as well written as they appear, I am in the habit of spot checking articles for duplicate content.

I chose the first article in the alpha list, Buying a Good Vacation Home.doc, to check for duplicate content and the first two odd segments found that this text is from other sites. The segments (listed below) I would consider not extremely common such as “real estate in Colorado”.

Next I selected an article from the middle of the alpha list called Going Green.doc. It too displayed duplicate content (Googled two text clips - see below).

It should be noted that these sections of text were searched on Google using quotes so as to find only instances with the exact words and phrases.

These articles appear to be written using a program like InstantArticleWIzard. That program pulls 2-3 lines of text from a variety of different sites on a related topic allowing you to quickly create an article.

I stopped reviewing the articles after those first two, so I hope I am wrong. I know that the product of high end articles can truly be used by many of us.

#1 - From paragraph 6 of Buying a Good Vacation Home.doc
“consider this ski area 50 miles from the Canadian border”

#2 - From paragraph 7 of Buying a Good Vacation Home.doc
“modern saltbox in one of the seven small villages”

#3 From paragraph 3 of Going Green.doc
“more evenly wash a room with light and eliminate contrast”

#4 - From paragraph 6 of Going Green.doc
“hence is more ecologically friendly than more commonly used oak”

Heya Loren,

We have a very stringent systematic process for when a new article writer comes on board, especially at this level, unfortunately this person has been with us a longer period of time and had gained our ‘trust’ so I also only did spot checks on them, so far there are a couple that have 10-20% copied.

The lesson for us, is don’t let trust stand in the way of good business systems.

Truly appreciate finding this out now, then had we released a “for sale” package, then we’d really have egg on our face… as it is, I think I see a dozen flying at me now :)

Aside from all this, thank you for the feedback so far, fortunately this is a one in a 100 case that won’t be repeated.

Please keep the feedback flowing.

The quality of the articles is good although all the ones I’ve reviewed still need some work and there is a lack of cohesion between some of the sentences.

I can’t really comment on the price as I understood that you would be targeting a specific market for each pack. A wealthy market like Real Estate Agents who understand the value of marketing would probably be prepared to pay more than your suggested $97. I think you could ask $150. Considering the length of the articles I believe they could easily be divided into 2 parts.

1. Looks good overall.

2. $2-$3 per article for distribution to a 50. Won’t mind paying more with distribution is more exclusive like 20-30.

3. Depending on the niches

4. Definitely

5. Article rewriting service to make these articles exclusive would be great

2007-12-05 07:58:02

The articles are a great standard. The ones I checked flow really well. I would always do a little rewriting to make them unique.

The suggested price is great for what you get and I agree if you wanted to market these to existing Real Estate sites you could probably ask $150. What I would pay would depend on whether I could immediately use the articles on an existing site and how much money that site was already pulling in. I would not want to take out a subscription for a different niche every month.

Somebody mentioned telling people the titles of the articles. I am sure you would sell more that way. On the other hand it does give away your keyword research, so makes them less valuable.

Thanks for the freebie!

Rosie

Marc & Daniel,

1. Your Feedback On The Actual Articles

I think that the real estate articles have high quality and the extra length makes them more valuable to read.

2. Price Point You would be happy with & distribution quantity. We were thinking the below sounded like a great deal. $97 per article pack (of 50 articles 1000 words each) distributed to 50 people only.

I think that $97 limited to 50 people is very reasonable for the quality of the articles.

3. If All Packs Were Of The Same Quantity & Quality Though On A Different Subject Would You Buy Multiple packs?

I don’t know how you would do it, but I would buy multiple packs on the niches that interest me. Maybe it is shame on me, but I have a lot of PLR on my hard drive in topics that I don’t have an interest in. One of my strugggles has been buying into a membership with a wide variety of articles that don’t fit my interests. It would be like going to a library or a store where I could buy what I wanted - and when it’s sold out, it’s gone. I understand the economics of providing that model depends on selling out the article inventory, which means regular promotion and marketing.

4. Would You Purchase Further Article Sets In The Same Industry (Different topics within the industry though, like a part 2 type thing)

Yes, if that topic and industry were something I wanted to dominate, I would look to these articles as a resource. (see above.)

5. Anything Else You Would Like to Cover
Another possibility for an article library is selling individual articles at a higher price, like $5 to $8 apiece.

Thanks again for sharing this work!

Ok, here goes;

1. Your feedback on the actual articles.

The articles were informative, on-topic, there wasn’t too much waffle, and they did cover relevant points. Pretty darn good. Saying that, the first thing that struck me when reading them was the writing style. To me, they came across as a bit unnatural - as if the writer was trying too hard. More relaxed or less formal would be better.

2. Price point you would be happy with & distribution quantity.

Because you mentioned what you thought sounded like a great deal, what I’m really answering is “would I be happy paying $97 and sharing them with 50 other people?” Yes. I don’t imagine all 50 people would use them, but I suspect a higher percentage would than use the standard PLR Pro article packs. Whether that means more actual copies of the articles online, I don’t know.

3. If all packs were of the same quantity & quality would you buy multiple packs?

If the topics were ones I really needed content on, then almost certainly. If I didn’t need the content badly but could use it, maybe, but if there was discount for buying more than one pack, more probably.

4. Would you purchase further article sets in the same industry?

If I was building an authority site, yes. Otherwise, I might prefer to purchase articles sets in different industries. When someone has gone to the trouble of setting up a new site it becomes much easier to add related content, so we may be more likely to see the related article packs published. That might make an article pack in a different industry more useful than one in the same industry.

5. Anything else you would like to cover.

I think this is a great idea. I’m trying to think constructively rather than negatively, but it’s hard not to want these article packs to be as exclusive as possible! Nice work guys.

Hi
As usual, you guys have offered another great product- these articles lend themselves to special reports, 2 part articles, great website info- I can see where they would certainly ‘earn the initial investment’ very quickly.

I think $97 is a good price point, and depending on the niche, I might buy more- but I would need to know it was a profitable niche before buying more, so I wouldn’t buy them all at once.

If you were to make several packages available on one niche, is it possible to offer a choice of packages? Like if you had 3 packs of 50 articles on a topic, rather than offering the same pack to everyone first, could you offer a choice of packs?

I think I would tend to use these more to boost info I already have,if I already had a real estate site, these would be a great investment to add value to what I already had.

Thanks for letting us ‘test drive’ these articles- & thanks for bringing more quality products to us!

Brenda

I thought the quality of the actual articles was very good. But, for the most part, all the articles that I’ve recieved from PLRPro has been good. So to tell you the truth, I’ve asked myself why I would buy 50 articles for $97 when I can purchase 40 articles (times 10 subjects) for $97. Especially when I rewrite them to make them unique. So for me, the price doesn’t make sense. Maybe I’m missing something here. I know that they are distributed to only 50 people vs. 200, but it’s a moot point if I change them to make them unique anyway.

I guess the bottom line is that I would like to see more options for purchase, like those that have already been suggested (i.e. offered a tiered structure, as Darren S said).

I would purchase multiple packs, if there was an incentive. (It’s all about the money, money, money.)

Yes, if I would purchase more in the same niche.

Thanks for all the high quality products you do provide. I know that everything I get from you is top notch.

The articles are on well chosen subjects to make a nice collection.
To my tastes they are a little dry and research like.

But I’m not a good reviewer for simple articles having little need for or experience to compare them with. I would not be in the market for them for many months, but they would have a good demand for the right people.

Hi Marc

Here is my feedback:

About $2 per article distributed to a max of 50 people, sound reasonable.

I would get packs only if it is in one of my niches that I am in now. And I don’t mind getting a few packs for the same niche.

Hi Marc
Yes - a cost of $97 is ok for a quality article pack if limited to 50. Doing a part II is an especially good idea. Multiple packs on different topics would also be welcome.

However, to be useful these still need to be in profitable and not over-crowded niches. Real estate did not strike me as an underexploited micro-niche. Also, although the articles were of better quality than usual, they were not all timely or well researched. The article on Germans flocking to invest in US commercial real estate is just plain funny and may badly damage a site’s credibility.

So overall I think the concept is great and can easily imagine buying - but not for such a crowded niche or outdated material. As usual, quality control is the killer.

Thank you for opportunity to review and have the articles, Sarah

Hi Marc and Daniel,

1. I am impressed with the quality. They are excellent

2. $97 for 50 long articles with distribution restricted to 50 I think is stunning value

3. Yes I would buy multiple packs provided the subject matter is in niches I can use.

4. Yes, building on existing content is always a great idea.

5. I am wondering how you are determining the niche areas and whether you are going to be open to suggestions and requests in much the same way as you are on the main site?

Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this.

I love the idea of long articles and smaller distrubution. These articles are great but like all PLR will need rewritten. We already know they are in use and in duplicate content! Goodness this is a problem we all experience.

I could say the same thing everyone else is or tell you want I need so that is what I will do.

For me articles written on niches that I want - using keywordphrases that fit my niches is a must. I have plenty on plr to rewrite and no time!

If I invest further it would be with you gents :) I would want content that is:

1. laser targeted to my niches - not niches a group selects. Not sure how you do this. But I really don’t need more plr I am not using.

2. only 10 people have the same niche and keyword phrased articles - though we each have unique articles. They are READY to go!

3. Doesn’t need spun. Yep ready to go. I can just take my articles and use. So I am talking about expanding your thinking to be a quality oursource of content. There are many outsourcing, traffic assistants, and article assistants out there but I can find any that the program works. Can you create one?

What do I mean?

In otherwords you have 10 people who want articles on car insurance so you send them each a unique article. Your writers can spin the articles enough that it shows up as unique and then I can use it right away!

If you have a pool of 50 people. Each month you offer 100 niches or what ever number works out. The 50 people must register there choices for their 5 niches. The membership dues pay for that person to recieive 25 unique articles in 5 niches each month. None of the other people got the same articles and the content will show up as unique when checked.

Sounds like a lot of trouble? That’s what I do with the articles I get now each month. Yes I have outsourcing but like the problem you’ve had commented on above. I still have to watch for it to be sold to someone else.

My best unique content source is me.

Yes you are offering high quality PLR and I am talking unique. Apples and Oranges.

Think about it. I can currently outsource to have 25 articles written for $3.00 each through a number of places. That is $75.US.

I would be happy to pay $4.00 ($100) to have them from you ready to go!

Just thoughts. . .

:)

No.

Would You Purchase Further Article Sets In The Same Industry (Different topics within the industry though, like a part 2 type thing)
Absolutely — this is more appealing to me than more packs on different subjects.
