Well, it’s been an extremely long time since we’ve posted anything here, PLRPro has grown to almost 1000 members in 5 short months, and we’ll just continue to grow and to provide better service to our clients.
This is going to become our main area for letting the outside world know what’s going on, but also to let loose our ramblings on SEO, PPC, Psychology, Success, What’s Working, What’s Not, and basically anything else that we can think of that will help you to move towards your goals.
I had a really good conversation with a friend today, and we were talking about how people will often give up just before success.
I’ve been re-reading some Og Mandino material (for anyone who hasn’t read Og Mandino, they really should, he’s up there in with Napoleon Hill) and one of the stories that was in his book, was the story of a miner who struck it big in a gold vein.
All indications pointed that this was the largest gold find of it’s time, so the man kept extracting gold ore from the vein, and then one day it just dried up.
The man was distrought, but he kept on digging in hopes of finding his precious vein again.
One day he quit, thinking that there was nothing left, that there was no more gold left.
He went down to the local pawn shop (or whatever it was called back then) and sold his equipment to the gentleman there.
This guy found out what the guy had been doing, and where he was mining, and decided he’d bet a few dollars on sending an engineer up to the site to poke around and see what he coudl find.
The engineer came back 2 weeks later, and explained that the man who had first been mining didn’t understand ‘fault lines’ and that in fact, the vein continued JUST 3 FEET from where he had stopped and given up.
The short of it, was that the pawn broker extracted gold to the value of close to 10 million dollars from this mine, all because he pressed on where someone else had given up.
So what the point in this story? Most people give up too soon, they quit before they should and therefore will never taste success.
When times get tough, don’t quit, keep forging on!
