Currently, Ian is one of the world’s most sought after Internet marketing consultants. His client base is more than 70,000 businesses coming from countries such as China, Singapore, United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong and the US – all achieved after less than a year in the internet marketing business.
Who would have thought Ian would establish an online empire just before he hit 30? Ian confesses not even him could. Being a college undergraduate, he reveals he knew so little about computers.
However, he already had in him the “green thumb” for business when he decided to sell various T-shirts he himself designed when he was only 15.
Ian then dropped out of college and became a TV writer for the Philippine version of the “Big Brother” franchise.
It was at this time when he began showing interest in Internet Marketing. Originally, he only used the internet to check emails. Later on, he saw the opportunity of selling and reselling digital product licenses. His interest was also sparked by “resell rights and private label business model.” He discovered he could acquire generic products on the internet and re-label them using his own brand. He also began learning the in’s and out’s of website development.
Oddly, Ian did not have a PC of his own and was merely renting a computer all this time. Though he did buy a computer later on, he had no internet connection. He therefore had to go to an internet cafe’ and download all the information he needed where he studied them all at home.
His first attempt in internet marketing was when he distributed e-books neatly compiled in a CD. He then offered the CDs as concessions to a local bookstore. Unfortunately, his efforts of selling digital books were unsuccessful. Ian reveals that the local market was still unprepared for such a thing.
Ian then turned to the American business model for e-book selling via the use of digital downloads which did not require any form of inventory or storage.
After Ian studied numerous US models, Ian proceeded to sell digital products to the international market. His first sale was for a $27 e-book to an online client in America. Ian was so overjoyed he generously gave her a lot of ebooks at no cost.
Ian then quit his TV job and went full time into Internet Marketing right from the comfort of his bedroom. He then expanded his range of products to software, video, online marketing tutorials, MP3 downloads and subscription wholesaler.
Despite investing very little capital, Ian started earning US$1,000 to US$2,000 in mere months. He also earned US$20,000 after one week through selling “membership wholesaler sites” – membership sites which he created and then sold wholesale with rights fro resale costing anywhere from US$197 to $397 for each pack.
Ian’s business was steadily growing that in May 2007 he set up “Fireball Planet Corporation” with the help of a few stockholders as well as full time and part time staff.
So far, Ian has authored a slew of books, namely: “Self-Made Internet Millionaire,” “Rags To Dot Com Riches,” “Crack the Secret Code Series” and the “Fireball Internet Marketing Series.”
He also has numerous websites all of which are related to his products, these include: FireballBooks.com, FireballMultimedia.com, FireballSoftware.com, FireballCart.com, Memberfire.com, FireballAutoresponder.com, TurboJVM.com, 48HourProfitPlan.com, FireballInternetMarketing.com and MembershipWholesaler.com.
Basically, Ian is not only an expert Internet Marketer, he also has an award to prove it. In 2008, he won “The Biggest Internet Marketing Challenge” competition by beating out fellow internet marketers George Pluss, Simon Hodgskinson, Edmund Loh, Dave Guindon, Jeremy Gislason and Joel Comm.
Users of Ian’s products are already familiar with, if not grateful for, Ian’s generosity as his buyers usually receive a free software product every month as well as 2 free ebooks and free audio and video. Also, VIP Affiliates of Fireball Internet Marketing not only receive 50% commissions, they also have 50% off personal purchases.
In the future, Ian plans to capitalize on outsourcing and is set to provide virtual staff for other global internet marketers. He is also establishing franchises of FireballPlanet.com in different parts of the world.
Overall, despite a scam claim by a customer which Ian refuted point by point – he satisfied the customer and pointed out inconsistencies in the customer’s claim – a Ripoff Report search shows no reports or scams were ever filed against Ian del Carmen.
