A New Yorker by heart, he highlights the fact that “nothing comes easy” and “everything is about hard work.” He says there is a difference between “hard work” and “working hard” and that you need to do the former. Mike Filsaime also considers it important that though you are “working fun,” the hard `effin work must be done. He emphasizes the myth that `everything came easy to him’ is simply just that - a myth.
Believe it or not, Mike Filsaime confesses he knew squat about the internet and internet marketing than most when he was just starting out. After all, he was selling Toyota cars for fourteen years and only started dabbling in online marketing in 2002.
However, two years later - on August 2004 - he quit his job at Toyota and decided to be a full time internet marketer. On the same month, he registered his now popular site ButterflyMarketing.com. Though at that time, he realized he needed to learn and re-learn the in’s and out’s of internet marketing. Therefore, he wisely took his time and only launched the site – after much persistence and `hard work’ – a year and a half later on January 31, 2006.

Basically, the course is a collection of scripts and training materials all of which aid in monetizing traffic and funneling in more traffic to sites. Mike Filsaime also goes and lives by the adage that hard work must similarly be accompanied by the ability to enjoy the fruits of one’s labor. He then balances his efforts by believing in the fact that though money and wealth is important, quality of life and family is equally vital.
Humility is also the key. Mike is convinced that one should constantly strive to know more and to not assume you know anything and everything.
With all his success – he took in US$8 million dollars in 2008 alone, earned US$25,000 in a single month back when he was starting in 2003, made US$75,000 in a single day and later on US$100,000 in a single month back in October 2004 – he declares that he similarly experienced failures from numerous “dud sites” which are now in the graveyard of long-forgotten online dreams.
