Do you have difficulty sleeping?

Ok, so this is way off the whole “how to make money online” theme, but if you’re like me, you’ll likely enjoy working at night more than during the day.

The reason for me posting this, is because earlier in the year, I had a period where I couldn’t sleep for 3 days… not like, troubled sleep, but I literally COULD NOT sleep… period.

Anyway, I’m fairly up to date with supplements, what works and what doesn’t etc. so my first attempt at sleeping was using Valerian, didn’t work.

I then tried a sleeping compilation of Valerian and a bunch of other stuff…

Didn’t work.

The weird part about it, is I wasn’t grumpy or snappy which you’d expect, and could work quite well, it really was weird.

Anyway, I went to the naturopath, and tried out some homeopathic Melatonin (5mg).

THIS STUFF ROCKS

I slept like a baby.

Popped one under my tongue, and felt myself just drift off into the best sleep I’d had in a LONG time.

Now, anytime I have difficulty sleeping (too much stuff on my mind, ideas, whatever), I take one of these and 30 minutes later I’m out cold.

As far as I know it works on correcting and balancing your sleep cycles, so if you suffer from insomnia, or find it difficult to sleep, you might like to give it a go, obviously check with a Naturopath or someone first, but I tell you what, this stuff has helped me heaps.

Oh, the brand I use is Natures Doc Melatonin 5mg, I actually couldn’t find a link anywhere online to buy it, but I just got it from my local health food store.

I thought this guy was good… but now I think he’s just unbelievable!!! Marketing at its BEST!

Ok, so Rob, one of the guys that works for us, showed me a you tube video of a guy playing one of my favorite classical musical pieces on the guitar.

As first, I was like, “Wow! This guy is awesome!” I got tingles up my spine and all that good stuff, it was just a pleasure to watch someone who is as good at what they do as he is.

But here is where it gets even cooler, at first glance, it looks all good right, just sending it through to his own clickbank product…

Actually he’s not, http://www.guitarmasterpro.com is actually an iframe, this dude is an affiliate!!!

This video has had 40 MILLION views in Youtube… 40 MILLION!!! Do you think after watching that video that anyone who wanted to learn the guitar wouldn’t buy that product?

But here is where it steps up another notch…

If you search in Google for “guitar”, a keyword that has 233 million competition, that video ranks #2.

Whoever this is behind it, kudos man, you are doing a brilliant job at being an original marketer!

Thanks to Rob for showing this to me, not just because it was an awesome video to watch, but because it was awesome to reverse engineer what he’s doing!

p.s. the other possibility is that it’s his own product and he’s iframing it with a different ID to independently track how many sales he’s getting through that video, which is also a smart way to test what is working :)

Just how important is “historical performance” on your Adwords Account

Thought I’d share this with you…

We have been doing PPC for a fairly long time, and have been using just a single account for our affiliate marketing, company marketing, product marketing, basically everything.

Obviously we have had separate campaigns etc. structuring all our campaigns nicely, multiple adgroups, single keywords etc. targeted ads etc. etc.

As some of you know, quality score has taken on a fairly important role on the relevancy of your ad, your minimum bid, CPC and where your ad will position.

Recently we’ve been testing some very broad keywords with targeted ads, which has basically meant we have a very low CTR with high volume.

Guess what this did?  Brought down the overall performance of the entire account.

Then I went to do some highly targeted keyword advertising in a very competitive niche…

BOOM $6.50 minimum bid…

I sat there like WTF…

So I tested the exact same campaign/adgroup/keyword/ad/url structure in a new account (everything identical)…

Minimum bid… $1.30…

Are you kidding me!

This account is like 3 or so years old, and I have now effectively STUFFED it for getting low minimum bids.

I tested this a lot of times between these two accounts, and the difference was anywhere from 65.78% to 500% cheaper…

So now I’m going to be registering a new account with the same keywords and keeping things very targeted within the same account.

I think that the quality score takes into consideration the past performance as well as the number of varied topics.

What does this mean?

If you’ve got a PPC account that you’ve sort of played around with, or you have a main account and want to test some other stuff… DON’T

Setup a new account just for testing, and keep your main account only for that which matters.

For me… lesson learnt.

Momentus change = momentus fail!

Well, if you’re a member of PLRPro you probably just got an email from us…

If you’re not, well, that last post we made got well and truly %#%!@ slapped…

I remember a while back someone making the comment that we should post not just our successes but also our failures, well, this is the perfect example of us falling flat on our face.

The crux of the email I just sent out, was, we aren’t changing anything… the structure of PLRPro is going to stay the same, we are obviously going to improve the membership, but PLRPro stays as is…

What we are going to do is continue with the high end single packs, and eventually a high end membership separate to PLRPro.

I tell you what though, boy does this pie on my face taste good! :D

Here’s the thing we live in a constant, shifting and changing world, and the internet is no different.

I email every person who cancels their membership with us personally, to find out why, fortunately the email is greeted with for the most part glowing praise.

1) That paying $97/mo is too expensive for them
2) That we offer too much content (they don’t have the time to put up all 11 niches)

There is little I can do to the first one, simply because doing so would lower the quality, something I won’t do.

The second I can effect, and as a guestimation 2/5 people cancel for this reason.

There is a shift in what people believe is the method for building sites, “lots of sites are out, a few big sites are in”.

Do I agree with this? Yes and no, we started out with 100 odd sites and still have those sites today, we are doing tests now with building large single sites but what I do know, is that some people can’t keep up with the content we deliver.

So I’m offering a solution, but I want your feedback.

We have 4 options to pursue and have put up a poll on our blog, but I need to make something very clear here though, because when I told someone about what we planned to do, all he read was we were taking away niches and charging the same. Nothing could be further from the truth…

There are two kinds of people online when it comes to content, those that are happy to simply have content, and so long as it’s readable they are happy and then there are those that believe the quality of the content has to be of the uttermost importance.

The truth is, we have both types of sites, and both serve their own purpose and there is currently nothing out there that offers anything of a premium quality, and by premium quality I mean something you can put on an authority site quite happily, knowing it’s good stuff.

That is the crux of what we are trying to do here, offer two alternatives, a high quality approach, and a premium quality approach.

So with that in mind, here are the 4 options:Option 1

Articles Per Niche: 50

Niche Continuation: 1 month (I’ll explain this in a second)

This is something that we will be implementing across a single group to start with, as a test to see what sort of response there is, so I’d like to know which you’d prefer to have ;)

Niche Annihilation Method Review (NAM)

So I got hold of Niche Annihilation Method before it even came out. See Rob Benwell has been incredibly hard to get hold off lately and now I know why. He has locked himself away to finish this and another product.

Here is where I first got back in touch with Rob about Niche Annihilation Method.

So what are my thoughts on Niche Annihilation Method?

Well I believe my testimonial on their sales page pretty much stated it all but let me go into it here anyway.

I’ve earned a lot of money through many of Rob’s teachings and techniques, from early days before we launched our flagship plr membership. Following his first product BTTB we produced it on a mass scale and made some really nice income. Some of those sites even today make money even though I have done nothing to them in over 18 months.

Niche Annihilation Method is what I would consider one of the best writings Rob has done yet.

It is a solid read the entire way through with simple yet effective techniques that just plain work. The best part about the guide is that it doesn’t overly complicate things but puts them in a simple format that you can execute. Followed up by video training to re-enforce the learning.

Apart from the heading over at NAM Rob also doesn’t claim outlandish results. He shows you that you can dominate a niche industry with a product very easily (Rob is even in the fish training industry), so he gives examples of sites earning less then $100 a day, to sites earning much more then that, all from his own examples of sites he actually owns.

Let me give you a tip too that I don’t think he has mentioned anywhere yet. I know for a FACT that quite a few of Rob’s mini niche products (which he is dominating in) are PLR products, Rob has told me privately many times that he loves using PLR Ebooks, re-designing the front page and graphics, doing a small repackage and then marketing it.

This lets him leverage his time in a much more efficient manner.

There are quite a few points in Niche Annihilation Method that I really wish Rob would have left out, but then again I am just being selfish with some tips I’ve been using for a long time when it comes to SEO. Rob has released them in this guide.

Overall I enjoyed the read, picked up a few new tips (Always keep learning) and even put a few new things into action.

This guide is by no means a fully in-depth training course, but then you wouldnt expect that from a $47 product.

What Niche Annihilation Method is, is a solid guide with really solid principles and teachings that if followed will increase your business.

It is definitely aimed at the “newer” Internet Marketer and not so much at the advanced.

Again nothing will ever work for you without hard work or action. If you think you can buy this guide and make money without setting up anything or doing the work. Put your card away now.

If you have started marketing niche products recently and are looking for some tips to take things further from someone that is doing very well in this already then check Niche Annihilation Method out.
