So I’m now down in Sydney staying with my wifes parents getting ready for Christmas, and after a little ordeal getting internet where we are (think of the most remote place you know, then keep going another hour… all they have is dial up, and quite frankly I’d rather drive for an hour to get to a net cafe than use it…), I am now up and working.
I managed to convince my wife to bring my desktop, I don’t know how I did it… but I did… but all this would be for nothing if I didn’t have an account at www.logmein.com.
If you don’t have an account there, I suggest you go sign up for a free one (you don’t need the paid one) it is one of the best things you’ll ever have, if you travel around a little or a lot, it’s an absolutely invaluable resource to have at your disposal.
From this most remote of places, I can log into the office, check my email, work on my products, make sure all the content is being written and going smoothly, manage our outsources, and basically run our entire business, all from anywhere… so long as I have net.
If you travel, it’s something you won’t want to live without, believe me.

It’s funny that you are writing about this. Just earlier this week I heard of logmein.com for the first time. I agree that it is incredibly useful, and you can’t beat the price!
Yep I’ll back that one up. Daniel and I use it everywhere, so do most of our employees also, it is one of the most valuable services around.
